You can feel better.
If your experience is anything similar to mine, life on paper looked great.
But I felt terrible. I believed I couldn’t do anything that I wanted to do. That my life was overwhelming and boring all at the same time. And on top of it all, I felt guilty for feeling terrible and constantly tried to force myself to feel happy. Which just made me feel worse, instead of better.
But did you know that you could believe you are really amazing, right now, at this very moment? Dishes in the sink, a to-do list a mile long, 4 hours of sleep, kids yelling in the house…..and you are amazing. Yup. It can be true for you.
Who said we were supposed to believe we’re bad at this mom thing? What if we could believe we’re great at it?! And still be human. And still make mistakes. And still love ourselves through all of it.
